The program provides 600 hours of training in all relevant areas of education and practice required for a Patient Care Technician professional.
The curriculum includes medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, nurse assisting, occupational therapy, radiology, respiratory and geriatric skills, advanced home health aide needs, HIV/AIDS, blood borne pathogens, OSHA, CPR and First Aid training.
After completion, students are prepared to take the CNA state exam and are also eligible to sit for the Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) examination with the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

This program opens doors to work as Nursing Assistants, Phlebotomists, and EKG Technicians in nursing homes, hospitals, healthcare, and medical facilities.
Graduates are eligible for both the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) State licensing exam and the CPCT/A with the National Healthcareer Association.
